This virtual exhibit of Louisville's Public Art Collection celebrates 20 examples of public art works belonging to the City of Louisville. The works were chosen to convey the wide range of materials, subject matter, form and location of this diverse and vibrant collection. Twenty Works represents the first step by the Commission on Public Art in implementing its 2009 Master Plan to make the city's collection available online, both through virtual exhibits like this one as well as through an online searchable database that will include a comprehensive inventory of the over 300 artworks owned by the city.
